UTN welcomes Sarah Bauman as new Associate Director

“Sarah Bauman brings a notable variety of skills and abilities from her public service and professional experience to our work,” said Spencer Jenkins, Executive Director of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network, of which UTN is a part. “Her background in organizational leadership, strategic partnerships and community engagement are an outstanding addition to the UTN team.”

Bauman specializes in strategy, partnership management and organizational leadership. She is known for her expertise in developing and executing business initiatives and financial strategies that create results.

“I am excited to enter this role because telehealth technologies and policies are evolving rapidly,” Bauman said. “UTN is uniquely positioned to support healthcare providers and schools in understanding the policies, utilizing the technology, and reducing costs to improve healthcare access and outcomes.”

Bauman also values the opportunity for UTN to work closely with stakeholders to improve healthcare access, including in rural areas where options are more limited. Bauman grew up on a farm in Massachusetts and moved west after discovering the beauty of the Colorado Plateau. She has lived in Utah for 25 years, 10 in Moab.

“I am looking forward to working with UTN's staff, the UETN Board, the Telehealth Advisory Council and stakeholders,” Bauman said. “My goal is to work collaboratively to improve and increase the education and healthcare resources available to network partners, to increase funding opportunities, and to further develop our ability to measure impact. UTN is saving lives and transforming communities, and it is an honor to join the team and contribute to this important work..”
