Utah Leads the Nation in Internet Connectivity

Utah has been ranked #1 in internet access by U.S. News & World Report, and a recent op-ed in The Salt Lake Tribune explains why.

The state’s exceptional digital connectivity is no accident—it’s the result of decades of strategic planning and collaboration. As the authors write:

“Utah’s enviable connectivity owes thanks to decades of building toward a long-range vision and collaboration that is Utah’s secret sauce.”

“In partnership with Utah’s broadband providers, the Utah Department of Transportation and key agencies such as UETN and the Utah Broadband Center within the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, Utahns throughout the state enjoy some of the best broadband internet access in the U.S.”

Co-authored by UETN CEO, Spencer Jenkins, Rebecca Dilg and Bruce H. Todd, the piece explores how public-private partnerships and forward-thinking investments have positioned Utah as a national leader in broadband infrastructure.
