Our team works closely with institutions to assess current infrastructure, plan for future growth, and implement high-performance, secure architectures. This service supports advanced technologies, ensures long-term sustainability, and aligns with institutional goals for digital transformation and innovation.

Telehealth Security Services

UTN’s Telehealth Security Services provide comprehensive, proactive protection for member clinics and hospitals, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical healthcare data and systems. Security is a shared responsibility, and UTN supports its member sites through network monitoring, threat detection, and vulnerability management—guided by the UTN Network and Information Security Policy. Services include managed firewalls, secure VPN access, traffic filtering, intrusion detection and prevention (IDP), malware scanning, and vulnerability management.

Included Services

  • Vulnerability Scanning. Regular scans identify potential security weaknesses in networked systems and devices, helping healthcare organizations proactively address risks before they can be exploited.
  • Firewall Management. UTN configures and maintains firewalls to control traffic flow, block unauthorized access, and enforce security policies across the network perimeter.
  • VPN Access Management. Secure virtual private network (VPN) access is managed to ensure that only authorized users can remotely connect to sensitive healthcare systems and data.
  • Endpoint Monitoring (Limited). UTN provides access to a range of security tools to help sites monitor for potential issues and incidents. These include services such as Endpoint Monitoring and SIEM/MDR, with offerings that may expand or adjust over time based on cost considerations and organizational priorities.
  • Border Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP). UTN deploys IDP systems at the network edge to detect and block malicious traffic, protecting healthcare networks from external attacks and intrusions.
