NCQA Releases White Paper on The Impact of Telehealth on Health Equity

The report stemmed from an NCQA roundtable discussion on the future of virtual health care delivery in a post-pandemic world. Held in October 2021, the roundtable featured a diverse panel of experts in telehealth, technology, regulation, and policy, including individuals from MedStar Health, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the National Partnership for Women and Families, among others.

State Telehealth Policy Changes

The Center for Connected Health Policy (CCHP) has released its bi-annual summary of state telehealth policy changes for Spring 2022. Additionally, we are also making available a state summary chart showing where states stand on many key telehealth policies, as well as an infographic highlighting our key findings.

Senate Passes Omnibus Spending Package with Health Provisions

March 21, 2022

The Senate last night passed a $1.5 trillion omnibus appropriations bill that would fund the federal government through the end of the current fiscal year. The House of Representatives passed the bill the previous day. The legislation also includes provisions beneficial to hospitals and health systems.
